The Buddha-Natur Part I: The Wish-Fulfilling Jewel

August 1 - 4, 2017

Price: Suggested contribution towards expenses: 590.- Euros includes all fees, meals, and lodging. More generous donations are graciously welcomed, while allowances can be offered to participants with limited resources. The choice is yours.

During this summer's open seminar Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche has graciously decided to teach The Heart Sutra. In a mere twenty-five verses this concise text distills the heart of Buddhism to its very essence, resulting in one of the most popular and profound texts in the entire Buddhist canon.

The Buddhist path is a journey to reveal and manifest our pure and perfect nature known as the sugatagarbha or buddha nature. During this seminar Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche will progressively introduce and lead us to discover buddha nature in our own experience.

From August 1st to 3rd Rinpoche will lay the foundation by explaining the teachings and methods according to the vehicle of individual liberation (Hinayana) and the vehicle of all-encompassing compassion (Mahayana). Developing a true understanding of emptiness and embodying its compassionate expression form the very root of the Buddhist path upon which our progress depends.

On August 4th in order to mend our committments, purify our perception and enhance blessings, Rinpoche will lead a full day group practice of The Ocean of Amrita.

Begin: Tuesday August 1st at 10 am.
Rinpoche will arrive on 31st July in Gomde

While Rangjung Yeshe Gomde's team wishes to make sure that all those sincerely interested in Gomde's seminars and retreats can afford to participate, in order to provide our guests with the best possible seminar experience, three delicious hot meals daily, and comfortable lodgings, we are obliged to ask participants for a contribution.

How is your contribution spent? Not only to cover Gomde's afore-mentioned overall expenses, but to help offset the price of air tickets, visas, and travel insurance for Rinpoche, the Lamas, and his monks, as well as for the translators.

We strongly advice you to remain for the entire program.

If you are blessed with the resources to help sponsor others unable to afford the full cost of the seminar, we ask you to consider giving a little extra. Know that it is received with our heartfelt appreciation for your compassionate generosity. As always, thank you so much!
