Chö- Cutting thru the ego and transforming attachment to wisdom

September 14 - 16, 2018

Price: suggested donation for accomodation, catering and seminar

This incredibly profound practice—comprised of song and dance, and full of beautiful, deep poetry—is a specialty of our nuns.

Chö involves a visualization in which the physical body is offered as a feast for all beings, both benevolent and malicious.

The purpose of this practice is to destroy or "cut through" the four Maras, and especially attachment to one's ego. Chö was introduced to Tibet by the Indian master Padampa Sangye and his Tibetan student the yogini Machik Labdrön.

In these seminars you will have the opportunity to learn the individual elements (the melodies, proper use of the drum and bell, etc.) from the ground up.

This seminar will start on Tuesday, August 14th at 6pm with dinner and an introduction and end with lunch on Sunday.

Single and double rooms are available.

Rangjung Yeshe Gomde would like to enable all interested parties to participate in the seminars. As a participation fee, we request a donation. The indicated guideline would cover the costs. We offer you the opportunity to evaluate your own resources and donate according to your own means.
